Signage Investment Eases Client’s Compliance Risk
Our client, a renowned youth-mentoring organization, owns a 27,000 sq. ft. building—half of which they occupy, while subleasing the rest to tenants. For uniformity, they wanted to extend the environmental graphics solution we had previously done for them to the other areas in the facility. Knowing the quality of our work, they approached us for recommendations.
In terms of signage requirements, we knew the aged building was not ADA-compliant. In addition, current signage was yellowed and aesthetically unappealing. The client was aware of the building deficiencies but had not yet devised a plan to bring it into compliance. To assist, we presented a facility-wide solution of updated suite signs, wayfinding signs and kiosks, and a plan to integrate new regulatory-compliant signage. We also provided work samples of what we have done for other facilities with similar challenges.
By taking time to understand the client’s needs, we were able to create a cohesive visual solution that uniformly reflects their brand and public image. The client appreciated how we helped reduce their compliance risk and improve overall building wayfinding. The look of the facility has improved dramatically and their tenants are thrilled with the finished product.
