As the frozen-yogurt resurgence took off, so did business! After the grand opening of their tenth Fro-Pop store in Southern California, it became clear the corporate marketing staff needed a better way to manage distribution of their promotional materials to the stores. Between the POS signage, wall clings, overhead graphics, sandwich boards and menus, it had become a significant drain on their office staff to create and produce all this signage on demand—and in a timely fashion. They realized if they could automate ordering and fulfillment, they could get back valuable marketing bandwidth in the office, and have happy store managers. 


We met with the director of marketing and discussed the benefits that an online storefront could bring to their business. It could absorb all their pain points: ordering of collateral, menus, POS graphics, store assets and promo items, and it would automate reporting for inventory and fulfillment. In addition to the items they needed, we inquired about the onboarding process for new employees and suggested they use the storefront for new hire kits—including aprons, logoed apparel and name badges—which they had never considered and really liked the idea. 


The management team at Fro-Pop has been very pleased with their online ordering system. It helped them refocus their marketing efforts on growing the business. All reports are automated and in one place, and they are able to get promotional material out in a timely fashion, which the store managers are very happy about.
